On any day trip always take along a pack with water snacks camera binoculars insect repellant and sunscreen. Badger Pass Ski Areas Nordic Center takes you beyond the lift-served areas and out to explore the park. The shuttle gets you to Badger Pass in plenty of time for a fun day of snowshoeing or nordic alpine skiing snowboarding tubing sledding.

The 2-mile Clark Range View Trail is popular with snowshoers at Crane Flat while the snowy Glacier Point Road offers lovely views up near Badger Pass. Visitors with their own skis or snowshoes can drive to Badger Pass and go cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. They can be rented for a nominal fee at Badger.

Snowshoe to Dewey Point 2015. You can rent shoes at the Badger Pass recreation center if you dont have your own. My preference is snowshoeingpeaceful easy little chance of injury and free if you own your own snowshoes.

The snow shoe rental was a rip off the trails werent marked and you could be looking around and going on dead end trails. Thats why with the Snowshoe Unlimited Season Pass and the Silver Creek Season Pass you can ski and ride as much as you want when you want. This is where you will probably need to put your snowshoes on.
